RightInterview for
An AI interview assistant that answers in your voice
RightInterview listens to the interview on your computer and shows a short answer you can say out loud, built from your resume, the job description and your notes, not from generic advice.
Updated October 31, 2026
- Answers are grounded in your documents, so they sound like you and don't invent experience.
- A private overlay on Mac and Windows that stays out of screen shares.
- One-tap buttons for “Shorter”, “Story (STAR)” or “Go deeper”.
- Pay by the hour with no subscription. Unused minutes never expire.
How it works
- 1Build an assistant on the web. Pick a template such as Interview answers, Coding interview or System design. Add your resume and the job description once, and reuse them across assistants.
- 2Start a session in the desktop app. RightInterview Candidate listens to your computer's audio and transcribes the interviewer's questions as they're asked.
- 3Get an answer you can say. Each answer leads with the point, stays within a speakable length, and only uses facts from your documents.
- 4Steer it in one tap. Ask for a shorter version, a STAR story, a deeper follow-up or questions to ask the interviewer.
- 5Review afterwards. Transcripts and answers are saved to your account, so you can see what was asked and how you answered.
Built not to make things up
Most AI answers fail in interviews for the same reason: they sound like an article and claim experience you don't have. RightInterview's templates come from prompts candidates have used in real interviews. They tell the AI to use your resume as the source of truth, keep your real years of experience, and say honestly when you haven't used a tool, then bridge to the closest thing you have.
“I haven't used Snowflake in production. My closest experience is BigQuery, so the modeling, partitioning and cost tradeoffs are familiar. I'd mainly need to learn the Snowflake-specific operations.”
What you can bring into an interview
- Interview answers: behavioral, experience and technical concept questions, answered in first person.
- Coding interview: clarify, brute force, optimize, code, walk through and complexity. See the coding interview assistant.
- System design: a compact framework of requirements, APIs, architecture, failures and tradeoffs. See the system design assistant.
- Recruiter screens: short, honest answers about motivation, notice period and salary that only use numbers from your notes.
- Remote Human Support: a trusted person can follow along in the free Support app and send you text hints.
Questions
- Does RightInterview work with Zoom, Google Meet and Teams?
- Yes. It listens to your computer's audio rather than joining the call, so it works with any meeting app that plays sound on your Mac or Windows PC.
- Will the other people on the call see it?
- No one is added to the call. The overlay uses the operating system's screen-capture protection so it doesn't appear when you share your screen.
- How is it priced?
- You buy hours and each minute of a running session uses one minute. Stopping the session stops the clock, and purchased minutes never expire. See pricing.
